On August 8, 2019 the IRS formally recognized the Micah Ministry as a 501(c)(3).  

The IRS has determined we are an official “public charity” and all donations made by individuals to the Micah Ministry are “Tax Deductible” under section 501(c)(3)  of the Internal Revenue Code.   Our Public Charity Status is:  170(b)(1)(A)(vi).  The effective date of our 501(c)(3) certification is September 20, 2018 (it was back dated to the date of our application filing date).  We are also authorized to receive tax deductible bequest, devices, transfers and gifts under Sections 2055, 2106 and 2522. 

The Micah Ministry will make all forms and annual financial records available to any individual or organization upon request.  Currently the Micah Ministry has a proposed budget for 2020 of $52,000 of which the expectation is that 96% of the funds received will be used to support the work of feeding, educating and providing basic aid to the deaf and vulnerable children of Zambia.   We have a list of projects which include bunk beds for the children (currently 3 to a bed), remodel of the children’s latrine, much needed road repair, and purchase a used truck.    If God blesses us with additional funds over the $52,000 we will us it on these prioritized projects in country.

The children Micah Ministry supports are living in very poor conditions and need any assistance we can provide them.  Please prayerfully consider the use of the funds God has provided you and if it might be possible for you to share $2.75 a day, the cost of a cup of coffee.   Your gift of as little as $75 a month can provide food and health care for one of the children for the entire month.  Please prayerfully consider joining us in this outreach.
